SHKP announces Board changes

Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP) announces the following:

1. The resignation of Mr Thomas Kwok as an Executive Director, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company, and Mr Thomas Chan as an Executive Director of SHKP.

2. The appointment of Mr Adam Kwok as an Executive Director of the Company.

The normal daily business and operations of SHKP have not been affected by recent events and will not be affected by these changes. The Company’s Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Kwok, will oversee all aspects of the business, supported by SHKP’s Executive Committee which will continue to make all major commercial decisions collectively to ensure the Company’s strong governance and continued success.

The appointment announced today is in line with the Company’s business continuity plan which is regularly reviewed and updated in consideration of a broad range of possible events which could affect SHKP.

Commenting, SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok said: “The successful strategic and operational focus of Sun Hung Kai Properties will continue as it has in the past; it is very much business as usual.
