Requirements

Retail Leasing/Promotions

We manage the leasing and marketing activities of a wide portfolio of the Group’s shopping malls located all over the Territory. Our main scope of work includes formulating marketing strategies, planning and implementing the trade mix of shopping malls, attending to tenancy-related matters, planning & organizing promotion activities and managing fitting-out and renovation strategies.

As a Management Trainee, you will be involved in:

  • Understanding the full development process of shopping mall leasing, including shopping mall leasing, renovation management, marketing and membership management
  • Conduct market research, including market trends, brand trends, tenant development, tenant promotion plans and needs
  • Understanding shopping mall leasing and marketing strategies
  • Implement marketing strategy and plan implementation
  • Coordinating with all aspects of property, engineering and design projects
  • Lease administration and reviews; handling legal matters in relation to tenancy agreement
  • Maintain the relationship between merchants or partners and shopping malls
  • Understanding business negotiations and follow up project progress

Training and Curriculum

This three-year programme provides trainees with the opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure. The first year will familiarize trainees with the Group’s business scope and the operations of the host departments. Cross-departmental attachments, classroom training, on-the-job coaching and action learning will support development of trainees’ managerial and functional competence. The second and third years will offer trainees a sponsorship programme for external professional study to strengthen their professional skills. Senior department managers and human resources and training staff will provide guidance and coaching to trainees throughout the programme to facilitate learning and help develop their potential.
