Promoting a Reading Culture
Our Read and Share programme introduced a range of STEM education activities to students, while the Read to Dream programme offered both online and offline activities to engage with the participants continuously. We keep expanding the content of our Read for More online platform to foster reading among youths and the public, which attracted more than 835,000 users and three million page views cumulatively.
Exercising for Good
SHKP upholds the spirit of Sports for Charity, which is reflected in the success of SHKP Hong Kong 10K Championships and the SHKP Supernova Virtual Race Series last year. Cyclists competed on the metaverse through a cycling app. Moreover, the SHKP Cycling Academy set up new training centres at three local secondary schools.
Providing Timely Support to Fight Fifth COVID Wave in the Community
During the fifth COVID wave in Hong Kong, SHKP responded swiftly to support the fight against the pandemic, by lending land for building community isolation facilities; providing convenient venues for community vaccination; offering hotel rooms for isolation purposes, etc.
Sharing Good Deeds with the Community
SHKP has maintained its partnership with a diversified group of organizations to support community projects. Our signature Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiatives led by the SHKP Volunteer Team, initiatives hosted by the SHKP Kwoks’ Foundation and the collaboration with startups continued to help the underprivileged. Meanwhile, residents of our initiated transitional housing project, United Court in Yuen Long, has started to move in this year.
